Oh, yes I believe the US can and may lose its power in the future. I think it is highly likely a country that has been lurking in the shadows may rise and do things no one is expecting.

We may never know what our future holds but Ibelieve America's power will reduce through time. The world being run by coorporations, like in Garifo's book, is a posiblity. Right now we are almost at that stage but we dont realize it.

I don't think so. America is presently supported by many nations just because they showed others that they have more control. When other countries figure out how to overcome the hold on them, they're bound to break free and set their own rules. U.S.A isn't invincible as much as it seems to be the case.

But we're not sure it will happen.

Yes I find it quite possible for the United States to loose it's power. After all when ewe come out in the world today we can see some least powerful countries rising up through some things like technological innovations. So it's very possible.

I think it is very possible for the US to lose power. With this current President and his controversial decisions and actions, my confidence isn't very high. On the other hand the US could stay powerful through corrupt or otherwise cowardly decisions and making alliances with dangerous people. Maybe one day morals, integrity, lawfulness, and humanity won't matter. Only the most dangerous, rich, and manipulative fear mongers will hold power.

United States Of America is a very powerful country, it’s the most influential in the world. I highly doubt that the United States will loose its power since it has a very strong governmental structure

I don't think it necessarily predicts the future, but I wouldn't be surprised if the United States loses a degree of power in the future. Especially considering what's going on now, and the people in power at the moment.

I haven't read the book. But who knows what the future holds? No one can determine the future. Many books have depicted the downfall of the USA. At the moment it seems quite possible. But let's see what destiny has in store for us.

I think this book has a plausible plot. The world could actually follow this trend and end up here. I wouldn't call it a prediction though because there are all sorts of alternative plot lines the world's future could follow. However, this is a pretty scary possibility.

No one can really predict the future. Though it's possible the US may lose its power especially with how fast the times are changing, I don't think it's going to happen in the near future.
