'Children Of The Eighth Day' by Mark Graves got me electrified. Although John's exploits also got me curious, I felt so excited by the mystery of the box. The story plot is also original because I don't think there are much books where the vampire race goes against themselves, but overall, I really enjoyed the book. Congratulations on being nominated for the Book Of The Day.

While I really like horror, I don’t think this plot is something that would hold my attention. But those interested in fantasy and that want a thrill might enjoy it. Congratulations on the book of the day!

I am not sure if I would be up for reading a vampire story. The author’s approach sounds pretty creative, though, and I am a bit curious about what will happen to young John Jones. Thank you for the intriguing review!

This is a vampire story book. A fantastic thriller where John discovers that vampires exist and he has to work in order to save humanity.

What a laudative review for a book that didn't impress me at all! I find this genre so boring! The battle between good and evil is much nicer in fairy tales. However, according to the review, this novel has a spark of novelty, with a vampire working for the benefit of humans...

Great premise to the story and to the series, but I like that it can be read as a stand alone novel. I wonder what happens to Alexander after he gets kidnapped and what do the journals have to do with his circumstances. Congrats on the BOTD!

This novel follows John Jones and his discovery of some journals that seem to belong to a vampire. I wonder what else he will discover. This seems like a fascinating book. Congrats on BOTD!

I'm also a little hesitant to read this book because the vampire element scares me. I might give it a pass for now but thanks for your informative review!

Great honest review. Vampire stories always contain interesting events with a conflict in the narration line that makes it enjoyable to read, Congratulations on BOTD.

I like that Alexander seems to want to protect morals, even though he is a part of the side that wants to harm them. I wonder how he will handle this conflict? Thanks for the review!

Vampire stories are my favourite. I must say it is a good read as I read first few pages that left me hanging for more. Despite the grammatical errors, it is enjoyable.
