The fast changes of modern technology is absolutely terrifying and there are very advanced jobs that people fear won't be available for much longer. this book seems to address that well.

I don't know if I should take the book as a prophetic book for it to have the year 2050. The rate at which technology is taking it's ground is really serious. There is tendency that by 2050 technology will totally own the world. Thanks for reviewing well .

This futuristic suspense, with a bit of a dystopian mindset, seems like it is quite thought-provoking. Great review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story set in the near future where technology and computers have taken over many jobs and humanity has basically been shackled by computers. The story follows Rickey Montey who takes on a job to work for Mr. Miter wants Rickey to investigate certain individuals and groups. What Rickey soon realizes that Mr. Miter may have plans to overturn the current system. It vaguely reminds me of Fahrenheit 451. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

'Official Review: Rickey Montey: Hero of His Age' by Richard Hamerski has a thought-provoking introduction. It well examines the action thriller story of the book for curious readers. The point that the concerns of today are addressed in the book through new laws, conventions, and societal rules is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that Hamerski does an excellent job of including internal monologue throughout the book, allowing us to see Rickey's true thoughts and emotions, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that this book is recommendable to readers that enjoy fictional mystery novels, especially ones with futuristic settings!

It seems like the book tackles stimulating issues in a unique way. I think it’s great to be able to see different ways technology may be used, both good and bad, in the future.

This book makes me imagine what the future would be like in 2050 if it were a reality. And how unfortunate it would be for me to find out that the job I applied for is totally different and more dangerous than what I was employed for, as in the case of Rickey.

2050? Could this be a prophecy in literary rendition? The days ahead could be scary. We can see it even in today's world that technology gradually takes up some of the jobs earlier performed by humans. There are bots, automated gadgets, ChatGpt, and the rest. Miter's deals with Rockey is exploitative, and we could see the rich and mighty using the less-privileged to achieve personal desires.
