The Stylite by Shane Hallawa is an amazing book. This book is multifaceted. I love how the author portrayed Teresa Amadei dealing with the loss of her mother and unresolved family conflicts, and how she was resilient. This book is absolutely worth reading. Congratulations on being awarded Book of the Day!

'Official Review: The Stylite' by Shane Hallawa provides vivid and picturesque details of the young adult story. It describes the main thoughts of the author's work. The point that the book portrays Teresa Amadei's transformative journey guided by Father Simon is worth mentioning in the review. The protagonist embarks on a quest that involves many challenges and battles. Also, as mentioned in the review, the book weaves together the elements of martial arts and mysticism, incorporating concepts from Christianity, Zoroastrianism, and Islam. Learning that the book includes pictures that enhance our understanding and connect us beyond written descriptions is worth mentioning in the review!

Nice, enjoyable review. I'm not a sci-fi/fantasy enthusiast, but this ones seems like one of the better ones. I appreciate an author who uses diagrams and photos, along with his writing, to explain the plot of his book.

Demon hunting sounds like my kind of story. I’m concerned that it might be heavy going with some complex terms but I’m willing to try.

"The Stylite" by Shane Hallawa is an action/adventure/fantasy novel for adult and young adult readers. It follows Teresa Amadei's transformative journey, guided by Father Simon, through challenges and battles to reach the city of refuge, Alexantine. The book skillfully blends martial arts, mysticism, and religious concepts. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars for its detailed explanations, engaging plot, and exceptional editing. Recommended for fans of fantasy, action, and transformative journeys. Thank you for a great review.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. I also appreciated that the author explained all of those things at the beginning of the book. That did help me a lot. I also could tell from the sample that he had written it very well. I'm sure that those who like fantasy will like to read this book. I'm not a fan of this genre though, so I will pass on it.

I'm always down to go on an action-packed adventure a character is willing to take me on. From reading the OBC official review, it seems that Teresa is going to come in contact with lots of detractors on her way to Alexantine. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.
