You never heard of Banshee Bones?! I am certain they were a nationwide crisp, right up there with Wheelies and Meanies etc heres a pic to jog your memory. I know you were in your 40s back in the 1980s but still, i thought you had a good head for names and brands..

Do you remember sugar mice?
Saw them recently in a new Sweet Shop opened in Limerick ... they have all the glass jars of sweets, all colours & 100% sugar. But they had the sugar mice in a neat little 3 mouse pack & a notice on the side reminding purchasers that the cotton tails are not edible. I never remember that kind of consumer care in my childhood ... God know how many cotton mouse tails we ate!

Yes i remember them well, they were one of the many boxes of sweets in my local shop, along with fizzy dummies, Roy of the Rovers (hell for teeth!), Wham! bars and Mr Freeze 10p ice freeze drinks.

Its a great idea to have shops with all the old faves, i used to love getting a "quarter of apple drops" in them brown bags for about 25p, all the drops in the bag would get stuck together to form one big ball of apple drops.

Vodka beat my ass last time we danced....No more wodka for me.

I just bought "Stealing the Sacred Lamb".
Haha no worries... i can handle my liquor pretty good. Unless it's Wild Turkey... then i'm screwed...

Mike- Aldi is amazing! I dont think i've ever seen Vodka there though. hmm... its kind of sad.

Fran- well atleast you'll have a drinking buddy in there.
