Thank you for your enlightening review! This book seems like quite the murder mystery that is about the murder of a sewing shop owner. I am interested in reading about the Cambodian community as well.

Sounds like the complete package. I love a good mystery, especially when it's covered in blood and bullet casings. Nice review

Every piece of the page can intrigued the reader, a suspense that rang in one's imagination are gravely penned, if one doesn't read to the end, you'll end up in some degree of uncertainty.

I do believe I may be in the minority, but I have to dissent with the above review. I felt disconnected from the story, and while I do appreciate the author's creativity in using foreign dialect, it was a bit overdone. I was literally counting the words to understand the dialect used. I do not wish to be unfair after having read only just a sample, but I have had books capture my attention from the start and this one did not. The most notable aspect for me was the setting, which was a clothing factory and this stood out. But I was not enthralled enough to want to continue reading this book.

'Official Review: A Story Of Bad' by Edward M. Krauss is a refreshing account of a murder mystery for curious readers. The point that the book describes the story of romance between the capable journalist June Replyn and experienced detective Terry Stans is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the writer has repeatedly shown exceptional knowledge of psychology is worth mentioning in the review. I find the review positive and encouraging. It was great to learn that to many readers of the book, it will also act as a script for a rather successful film!

This is a unique mystery novel with intriguing characters put in a head scratching dilemma- crossing the lines of work ethics as a result of romance.

I like that with a murder mystery storyline we have a romance subplot as well. The great pace and not knowing who the murderer is until the very end is the great thing about this book too. I will add it to my TBR. Great job with the review.

I like books that are concise and yet pass information and are interesting. From the review above, this book contains drama and I'd love to read it.

When I read the plot of this book, I thought of my sister because she is a seamstress who loves murder mystery books. This review is very compelling and informative. Thanks! :tiphat:

A murder mystery and thriller, though not my cup of tea but sounds like a good book. The cover of the book seems juvenile and the title could be improved as well, in my opinion. Great review, very concise and detailed. Well done.

This sounds like a twisty crime thriller that keeps readers guessing until the very last page. It takes a talented writer to pull this off, and this author was spot on. Thanks for the informative review

I felt at first sight that the quality of this book is reflected in it's title. And I wasn't mistaken. Well written dialogues and beautifully crafted crime plots, heightened by the unpredictability make books like this thrilling. I'd definitely want to read this.
