During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Nolan sees a patient suffering from a mix of STIs and internal bruising, which sets off his natural concern for people. Less than 24 hours later, Dr Nolan is in the MEs office identifying her dead body. Rage is triggered and the action commences.

I wonder what Dr. Nolan would do about the death of this woman he felt attached to. I look forward to reading this. Nicely written review.

The academic in me is in love with the title but I am not yet convinced this is something i would enjoy reading. I do appreciate how the author includes the effects of the pandemic on society at large.

Like you, I was introduced to a new word in the title of this book. And also like you, I immediately connected with Dr. Nolan's character when I read the sample pages. Thank you for your recommendation, and congrats on BOTD.

Interesting review. This creates the need to read the book especially about behind the scenes during Covid and the bit about modern day slavery.

I love crime and mystery and this seems unique because the protagonist is a doctor and fatherly figure and not a detective. Thank you for your recommendation.

I love good mystery with amazing cast of characters especially family and friends who helped Dr Nolan in his quest to dig-out the mystery surrounding the death if the murdered asian teen.Dr Nolan didn't believe her death was natural considering her earlier visit to his hospital with bruises and symptoms of been sexual trafficked. After Dr Nolan was contacted by the authority depending that the little asian girl had his business card with her.I love the storyline and how Dr Nolan chose to dig more about her death.i recommend it to everyone ♥️

Human/sex trafficking isn't something many of us think about a lot, and maybe we should because it's something that's happening very often. It would be interesting to read how Dr. Nolan goes about fighting this.

That story seems to be action packed. That is, post COVID effects, human and sex trafficking, and uncovering facts about a murder. It is a story that instils tension, fear, sadness and excitement. Thanks for the review.

I am intrigued by what this title means. Murder mysteries have always been my favorite type of non-fiction read so I'm going to give this a chance.

I don't know what the title means, I'll dig into that later. It does rouse my curiosity, how did the Asian woman die? How would he know it's his daughter? Modern-day slavery and human trafficking are very deep topics and it doesn't surprise me that the cops swept it under the rug.
