While I could tell that the book is well-written and described so well that the reader can picture things in their head, this is not a genre I care for. This sounds like an interesting science fiction—maybe science fantasy—novel. It would be intriguing to explore the after effects of war on a people in a speculative fiction setting. The polygamy wouldn’t bother me at all, although I would want to read the first book before I read this one, so I’ll hold off on this book until then. Thank you for the helpful review.

I enjoy sci-fi books, but I am not sure if it is the way the review is written or the book itself that I am not interested in. I feel that it has too many blank spaces and plot holes to be a novel.

I don't believe in polygamy, but I do know of many people who say it is an enriching life. While it is not for me, and I don't think I would enjoy the book simply because of that, I think those who like sci-fi and strong family relationships will enjoy this one. Thanks for the review!

The book sounds fascinating, am intrigued by the culture in the plot storyline, It's an intriguing concept to consider having two spouses. She loved her wife more than she loved her husband, as you pointed out. I hope she finds a way to balance it. Thanks for the review.
