Is it coincidence that the House of the Dragon just came out yesterday? I think not. In any case, it's dragon season!

Reading novels about dragons is a lot of fun! The storyline and Blitz's apparent development as an intellectual dragon both appeal to me. To witness a dragon and a princess get along is just the opposite. The cover is a stunningly lovely design. It would be obvious to you and you would want to read it. Congrats on botd!

I love reading fantasy books and this one seems to take a fresh approach towards the mythical dragons with a fetching storyline. Thanks for the review!

It is difficult to point out certain undertones in a book for fear of offending the author, so thank you for including that in your review. The idea of a gentle, altruistic dragon reminds me of the Dragon Heart series, which I still love. Thank you for a great review!

Call Me Dragon is a mythical and magical tale set in medieval times. It was a time when humans and dragons existed. Princess Azania, locked up in a cave, was carried off by Blitz (a dragon) from her captors. Will a bond ensue between them or will it turn deadly? This is an interesting read. Thanks for your review.

The dragon as a mythical creature is the main character in the story, and he can communicate with a human. An unlikely friendship story between a dragon and a princess is the interesting point in this story. Although I'm not a fantasy fiction fan, but I think this story is quite engaging. Thanks for your review.

I dont really like dragons😅,,but how the story Is set out that humans and dragons could communicate caught my attention. It made me think of Alvin and the Chipmuns.

I love fantasy, especially when dragons are given a role other than the villain or ferocious beast. The fact that Blitz starts his adventure trying to gain the same fierce reputation as the other dragons but still turns out different from them makes the story even more interesting. Thank you for the helpful review.

May I say, congratulations on the review. Thank you for the heads up on the female remarks. A few " oh that is a girl thing" can get the point across without, as they say," beating a dead horse". This does tend to make a character one dimensional.

In this fantasy, the mythological creatures coexist with humans, and they seem to bear human-like intelligence. I liked the way these mythical creatures entwined with other characters in this adventurous story.

I love fantasy books with mythical creatures interacting with humans. The unique idea of the dragon stealing the already captive princess for ransom is definitely appealing. Great review points!

Thank you for your great review. It sounds more like a book that my teenage son would enjoy, but I'm not one for fantasy books about dragons if I don't have to be. Dragons and humans bonding is unique though. I'm sure many others that enjoy fantasy books will look forward to reading this book though.

I was hesitant to read it because it's part of a series. However, this is perfect for a lighthearted read right now. It's similar to my favorite series (The Enchanted Chronicles) by Patricia Wrede. It also talks about how a dragon and a princess negotiate to help each other. Congratulations on the BOTD.
