After reading the review, I feel that the flow of expectations of the events did not come across as one would expect. The romance for one lacks the chemistry that should be between Alex and Greta. Even the professionalism of Alex's character also lacks merit. It sounds like a great book even with a lack of wording playing out the way is expected. To rate the story with its full stars says that the book is not lacking in originality. Thanks for such an enlightening review it drew me in.

Good to know this novel includes a romantic adventure plot. This book includes love story of Greta, the only daughter of the president of Sadler Corporation and Alex. The plot has historical rootings and contains well-developed characters. Hope, this adventures story will entertain many readers.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romantic adventure about a couple that must cope with issues arising during the 1840s-60s American gold rush. Well done.

That was a really comprehensive review. Especially about the characters. The book seems interesting, despite the weak female character.

This book sounds like a compelling read, but with the title, I expected that the main character, Greta would be the most developed. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. I'm not sure if I will enjoy this book as it's not quite what I look for in a romance but if I find myself looking for some quick entertainment I'll pick it up.

Thank you for the review. I'm afraid this doesn't sound like the kind of thrillers I am interested in, although the historical setting and the adventurous tone of this romance story will surely appeal to those looking for a particular treasure hunt story.

A Woman's Prerogative" by Steven C. Brandt is a romantic novel. I'm not a romantic novel lover but I think I will give it a try. Thanks for the review. Congo on #botd.

The title of the book is really catchy. The reviews make it sound just as interesting. I will be reading it or adding it to my list of want to read books.

I'm from Nevada so the historical part of it sounds interesting. I don't care much for romance or business, I don't think this is for me. Nice review.

This time period (1840s to 1860s) has always been of interest to me, in addition to the strange appeal of gold mining and searching for hidden treasure. A hidden treasure aspect of any novel takes me to The Goonies, a movie which I have loved throughout the years, and especially in my childhood. Thank you for the review, and I can't wait to get further into the novel!

The book A Woman's Prerogative by Steven C. Brandt seems to be an adventure of romance between the wealthy Greta Sadler and Alex Mackenzie, a renowned geologist and teacher, the story takes place between 1840-1860 and they have to face family issues that make the story very interesting, it develops in the middle of the search for a gold mine, a variety of things that keep the suspense happen, no doubt attracts the attention of readers who like action, drama and romance.
