This sounds like a great book. I LOVE the title.
Fabulous review, Cecilia!
Hi Bianka! Good to know I'm not the only one who considers page count. I think you're right about the author including the page count on Amazon. I've always thought that was why it usually has the most accurate length--perhaps it was an oversight this time.
Thank you!

As someone with anxiety, I am pleased to know that a memoir of a person suffering from a panic disorder is getting published. Panic disorder, among other mental disorders, are often stigmatized. People suffering from it are usually told to "snap out of it" and that "it's just inside their head". I would read this, and recommend it to my friends and people to spread awareness and destigmatize panic disorders.

Panic attacks are terrifying. Encountering them on a regular basis, to the point where the person feels like the only moderately safe place is home must be truly painful. I have tremendous respect for those who face their condition and fight for recovery. I found your review beautifully written and informative, and including actual quotes from the book was a very nice touch. I'd definitely love to read The Quicksand of Agoraphobia. Thank you!

The title of the book is captivating and I believe its content is very educational. Considering the topics it explores, I think this book could be suited for not just people who are dealing with similar situations, but to everyone, since the ability to be empathic is much needed in the world of today. Thank you for the review!

I find memoirs to be very intriguing. This book sounds like a good read especially for a person suffering from depression. With such a good review done on this book am convinced it is a must read for me.
