"Sword of the Spirit" by Mark A Norris - A fantasy about good and evil, which feels authentic. The author's writing style seems effortless and draws the reader to keep turning pages. Their are creatures of darkness, fighting creatures of light. It's a frightening experience even for hardened fighters. It has mystery, suspense, and great atmosphere. Thanks for great review.

According to me the book has an amazing plot which could keep the readers glued. A lover of adventure with Yul Grunman, Tidwell Skilts, Doctor Merriman Pedorin, Tom Lakland, and Professor Bonyard Onn.

Well-written and professionally edited, today's BOTD is a Christian fantasy thriller that readers of the genre will enjoy! It isn't the one for me, but I appreciate the use of vivid language and descriptions, as they paint pictures in your mind while reading. Thank you for the helpful review! :-)

I was interested in the book at first, since it's a fantasy, but the minute you mentioned that it has references from the Bible, I decided not to read it. I am a Christian myself, but I do not enjoy books with religious themes, and I also lack in-depth knowledge. However, it does come across as an interesting read. Thank you for the detailed review.

The story and some of the names reminded me of The Lord of the Rings. This fantasy novel sounds like an exciting read with some delightful and dangerous adventures in it.
Thanks for this amazing review. :tiphat:

As soon as I read those character names I knew it had to be some solid fantasy! Allegorical tales are interesting, and the fact that the author used Biblical references but slightly altered to fit the fantasy world is very creative. Thank you for your review!

Hi!

Congratulations on winning BOTD review!

This combination of Christian/spiritual content with what people think of when the thriller/fantasy genre is mentioned would probably result in an intriguing story. I enjoyed the quote you included and (had it not been stated) I would have thought it was simply a piece of dialog from the story. I like that although Christians would be more likely than a non-Christian to understand the references, ultimately, the narrative does not sound like religion is the primary focus. A wider audience of people will be able to enjoy this successful book. My confusion is whether this is a sequel or not.

Thank you for the review.

This reminds me of Frank Peretti’s novels. I read all of them that I can get my hands on. I think this tale about the spiritual warfare present today will be one of my favorites. Thanks for the review.

This fantasy novel is written especially for Christians. The warriors of good battle the forces of evil in this exciting tale. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Nice review! Thanks to the reviewer for an excellent job done.

I am an avid lover of fantasy and I love quest adventures. The book's title even fascinated me and I was excited to read this book. However, the religious aspect of the book perplexed me. Thanks for the great review. I'll check this book out.

I enjoyed reading the review itself. The novel seems interesting yet I would like to skip this one as I preferably don't read books backed by a specific religious belief. I am not against adding a spiritual aspect to a plot though. Thanks for the review. Congrats for BOTD

Interesting! It's not a book I would have picked just reading the blurb, but now that I've read your review I'll give it a try.
