Great review. This is a new twist to crime thrillers. I'm excited that the author was able to bring something new to the table.

I usually find books that are emotionally charged to be more interesting, as you can actually feel the emotions while reading.

It's a little disappointing to me that the mystery is not really the main element in the story. That's my favorite part of these type of books. Thank you for putting so much thought into this review!

I love the idea that the two main characters in this gritty crime novel are female and with one white and one black it should lad to some interesting interactions.
