Amazing. That's what this book would most likely be described as. However, Xuang's being diagnosed with a terminal disease is frightening. I', a sucker for good endings and try to avoid terminal tragedy. Tragedy in the middle adds to the plot's substance, but the tragedy at the end of the book would leave me so displeased. I'd have absolutely loved to read this book as it captures the true essence of love-one beyond racial origins.

This book reminds me of Six feet apart . One can preserve their identity in respect to the departed and carry on that person's legacy after they pass away. Love survives death.
