I am always interested in mysteries, and this story sounds like it is right up my alley! Thanks for such a good review!

Thank you! I believe this is the first of a series centered around Susan Prescott. I know there is at least one other book with her as the main character.

Hello Ashley,
I just received notification that you had posted on N/Room :) There are two other books with Susan Prescott as the main character - the second is The Celibate Mouse, and the third is After Ariel. They are both in the Online Book Club index. The fourth in the series is in the process of procrastination and is expected to break out and be written this year! It is tentatively called, A Dark and Lonely Place and the first four chapters have been written so now I have to get to and write the next thirty or forty.

Best

Great job providing an interesting and insightful review. I love that there is rich character development and unique storytelling. This book sounds like a keeper.
