Once again, another great review! My "baby" will be starting the seventh grade in a few days, but I still love reading about the little ones! This book may have been quite helpful to me when my son was younger. I had no problem with finding advice and information for the first twelve months, but I felt completely alone and unprepared for the toddler years. Even a kind word was hard to come by, as everyone seemed so focused on what I was doing wrong. A funny story would have done wonders for my morale, and it would have been comforting to know that I wasn't the only one struggling!

Well, between your review and my own ramblings, I'm sold on reading this book! I'll download it ASAP! :D

Thanks Livre! I had the same thing happen to me - that everyone wanted to give their 2 cents about what I should have been doing when my kids were babies and toddlers. :) Funny how some kids always took a nap in the afternoon - I wondered what that was like. :) If they weren't in the car, they didn't take a nap!

I never had this problem personally, but I knew lots of people who did! Every child is different, and you just have to do what works!

To be fair, I did receive a lot of useful advice, particularly about products to buy.

This sounds like a great book especially as a first time mom of a 9 month old. While I'm happy to hear that there are morals incorporated it's disappointing that there doesn't seem to be anything new in it. However you did a great job on your review. And yes I am not a fan of poop either. Lol

Thanks for the feedback. As a first time mom, you might find a few pieces of advice that are new to you. :)

More than the reading what the book is about I enjoyed the way you have written the review.

Thanks Iris2992 and AishaTBN! The book is definitely a fun read for everyone, although I think mothers would particularly relate to the stories.

Thanks Silvermoon. I think a new mother would enjoy reading these often hilarious stories and get some helpful info, too.

The poop scene must've been very hilarious. Excellent reviewing, bookowlie.

Thanks Cee-Jay and Siti Zakiah. The poop scene was funny in that "glad it didn't happen to me" kind of way. :) The imagery was very clear, although that wasn't necessarily a good thing!
