Latest Review: "Anna's Journey" by Gerald Miller

It seems like a mix of culture and politics, which can always be a touchy subject but it should still be spoken about. I have to admit I never guessed what it would be about judging by a cover, which is a bit strange. Thank you for the review.

An intriguing story indeed. Two people are born in the same city, almost on the same day, marry similar people, give their children the same names, and write very similar books.

Jaime Lync wrote:I also read this book quite recently. I found it very confusing and it had too many grammatical errors for me to give it a 4 out of 4 stars. Did you know that this book is a part of Mois Benarroch's Love and Exile series? There are seven ''novels'' in the series and this one seems to be the third one. I recently reviewed the one that comes before this one - The Stealer of Memories which was translated from Spanish to English by William C (very poor translation). The content of the books make them worth a read.
If you want to find out more about Raquel you should read The Stealer of Memories.
I really wanted to read it based on the review, but when I read about the grammatical errors and the fact that the book is part of the series, I'm having second thoughts now. Thanks!!

I personally don't read books about politics are social issues because it is quite too depressing at times.. However it seems interesting based on the fact he recreated him self as a female. I am going to read the book to see for myself. I hope it is as intriguing as the previous reviews makes it to be. However it does seems exciting.lets hope it is.

Very good review. The author looking to rediscover his roots sounds interesting. I love a good story that the female is strong and not whimpy, grabbed my copy. Thanks for making it free and congrats on being BOTD.

Great Review! My first impression was the cover of the book is not exactly one that grabs a persons interest. However the novel does sound interesting. I love learning about new cultures and enjoy seeing how their personal experiences shaped the novel.

The story in this book gets more interesting as you go along with it, just like the other book from the same author. On the other hand your review is quiet interesting and I like it, thank you for a well done job.

Your review was so helpful! It explained what this novel was actually about...I was a bit confused at first. Thank you so much! Because so much is usually lost in translation, it is difficult for readers to fully appreciate the words of the writer. It doesn't seem the case so much with this one...I'm looking forward to reading this, and I have downloaded my copy! Congratulations to the author! :-)

Great review, very in depth. This doesn't sound like my cup of tea but it does sound like a great read for fans of fantasy mixed in with memoirs who enjoy a read that as you say "fuels thinking about cultural differences, prejudices, racism and assimilation." Thanks so much for sharing.

Great review! I don't really think I'd find it interesting because of the genre, but I think I should probably give it a try.

The plot of this book sounds interesting but after picking up and reading the sample, I have to say that the style of writing bothers me. I do not think this is a book for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. Great review!
