Thank you for your in-depth review of this book. I don't think this will be a book that I will read because I dislike war and I'm not too interested in diary-like stories. I'm glad I read this review before trying to read the book. thank you!

Sounds like a book I would have enjoyed, but I'm a little leery of memoirs of "random" people after Bama Boy. Still, I enjoy learning history and the Vietnam Ware interests me. I just don't think I can handle another book of "remember when" stories without an actual story. I will have to ponder this one a little longer. Thanks for the great and honest review!

Have you ever been to an airshow? If not they are really neat. Jets fly real close to each other and also do different tricks. This book sounds exciting. I hope I find it.
