I was discussing this with a friend recently. He's a big Vonnegut fan and I have only read Slaughterhouse-Five, which while good left me a little bit underwhelmed. (Sacrilege on this thread, I know). When I mentioned this to my friend, he suggested that it wasn't necessarily that representative and I should give Vonnegut another go, because a lot of his other work is very different; funnier etc.RainbowSix wrote:Slaughterhouse Five is an both an excellent read and introduction to his other work
