I too is of the school of thought that Ron's faith is on another level. You don't always get that easily and not everyone sticks by it till the very end.

The element of faith in a book is one that is fascinating, but I might chose the love theme over the faith theme in this book. It promises to be a good read, as I just picked it.

The theme that stuck with me most was faith and also, perseverance. Ron and his wife had a lot of faith, and I think that is admirable about them. Love was also a theme that stuck with me because of Ron's love for his wife.

His love for his wife is one that you will not see everyday. I respect him a lot for that.

Faith is the theme of the book since the character struggled so much but never lost hope so beautiful and inspirational!

Like many others stated, faith in the absence of reassurance struck me as a most admirable theme. Ron had no reason the believe his wife or their family would get through this tough time in their life. Ron’s dedication to believe that God would carry them through is striking. I cannot imagine going through a similar situation, but I could only hope to have the type of faith that Ron and his wife have.

For me, the love and bond between Ton and his wife was the main theme that captures my mind in this book. Though I still could not wave the unshaken faith he exhibited despite his situation.
