A book which has romance, tragedy, love, anger, mystery; these genres together make a book very interesting that readers would never feel boar. I really like to read this kind of stories. The book has everything which makes it worth reading.

Thanks for your insightful review. The book should be interesting to anyone who enjoys strong characters. But there does seem to be a lot of things happening at the same time. I hope that the action does not overwhelm the novel.

Your review gives a clear picture of the kind of read this should be. Credit to the author for writing well but I am not personally fond of fictional stories with such a theme. Thank you!

I think it's interesting that the different sub-storylines of grief, anger and mystery culminates in a romance at the tail end. I'm curious to read about Bernie's tumultuous relationship with his boss. Thanks for the review.

The books seems to contain a lot thrill and suspence. I like books covering multiple genres so is the case with this. Great review.

This sounds like a compelling book that I might be interested in. I'm curious about how the protagonist's views on monogamy play into the narrative... in a book of murder and grief, it doesn't seem to fit! But maybe that's why it's worth reading.

I enjoy mystery novels a lot. With so much going on in the protagonist's life, it seems like a gripping story. Thanks for the review.

I didn't find Bernie a relatable character. On the one hand, he seems to care for women as he helps with a women's shelter. On the other hand, he has no problems in using Chloe or cheating on his wife. Perhaps I'd be interested in the story if some of the dialogues were rewritten and the sexual and graphic violence scenes were reduced to a minimum. Thanks for your review, though.

I love a story with good character development, and I am usually able to get past violence and other graphic scenes so long as they're written well and serve a purpose. I'm not sure if I have the time to read a 400-page book right now, but I'll keep it in mind for later. Thank you for the helpful review.

The fact that the book deals with mental afflictions and flawed personalities make me want to read the book and explore the mentalities of the characters. Of course, I also love a good mystery. However, I must add that although a book must never be judged by its cover, the cover is rather unappealing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, anyway.

I made it through the first chapter. The most difficult part, for me, was the editing. It was very time consuming to determine where one paragraph ended and the next began.

I'm at the stage where I read for enjoyment. I want to be enveloped in the world the author creates. I doubt I would have made it to the middle of the book so it could "all smooth out".

Seems to me like this truly is a tough journey :eusa-think: even tougher than those gigantic waves🌊 we see on the book’s cover :o and with all the unfortunate events in the main character’s life, I can imagine how hard that road can be. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this wonderful Read! Best regards :tiphat:

While I like the element of romance in the book, I'm not looking forward to reading about violent murders. I think I'll pass on this one.
