This story uses a pair of socks to illustrate the stages of grief. I think it is highly relatable to even adults given that grief is something that everyone can experience.

This seems like a fun story for children involving a pair of socks as animated creature. The socks really like each other, but, once they get separated in a laundromat. You would get to know what happens next in this story. Thank you for the review!

Thanks for the review. I appreciate two things from this review about 'Sock Lobster': one is that the sock pair represent the positive and pessimistic views on life, which may help children understand that there are (at least) two sides of looking at things, and the other is on dealing with grief due to loss, for both children and adults. This book looks engaging enough for young readers.

I completely agree with you and how the story beautifully addresses themes of grief with a happy ending. it's a delightful read for both children and adults. Your connection to Sebastian's self-reproach is very touching.

I'm intrigued by the magical socks, Sebastian and Lola. The journey through grief sounds touching, and the relatable characters will make young readers understand the stages of loss and joy better.

I am fascinated by the story of an elderly lady knitting her adult granddaughter a pair of socks that look like lobsters. I am intrigued by what makes the said pair of socks "magical". I am interested in the contrasting personalities of the two socks.

Thank you for a good review. This book sounds cute. This a beautiful way to incorporate the message of grief to children in particular. This book reminds me of a recent book I came accross about dealing with grief, particularly for children. I am glad there are books like this to help children become aware of the emotions and how to process loss. The use of the socks is so very funny and smart of the author. Nothing can prepare us for what grief brings but stories as such are critical in developing the awareness to approach such times with courage and wisdom and strength.

This book sounds like such a good idea. Children these days grow up in a bubble and as soon as they come out of it and are pushed into real world, they feel confused and entitled Books like these would help them understand that not everything has to go their way. I would love to read this book. Congratulations to the author for BOTD and best wishes for future projects.

"Sock Lobsters" by Michelle Bulriss is a children's book. An interesting theme stems from a grandmother knitting a pair of socks that look like lobsters for her granddaughter. However, these socks are magical and have the names Sebastian and Lola.

The review highlights the fact that the book explores important areas in a child's growth and gives good advice to the child reading it.

The critique was highly favorable. I particularly appreciate the thematic choice of introducing the complexities of grief to a younger audience. I'm eagerly anticipating the resolution of Lola's fate.
