This sounds like an interesting historical retelling about the fictional daughter of Ernest Hemingway. Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

I love Earnest Hemingway. I think this book would tell a story of his life in a different perspective because he had a daughter he desired. I would love to read more about this and how Hemingway's life would change if he had a daughter. Thank you for the lovely review!

I think it's amazing that the author was able to alter Hemingway's life so cohesively. Congrats on BOTD!

Hemingway is an exceptional writer and I have no surprise that Christine wished to be an imaginary daughter. It was a great review.

This is a tough one. While it is quite difficult to reimagine the life of someone who actually existed, I cannot say I am excited to follow the life of Earnest. Thank you for your review.

This sounds like an interesting historical novel inspired by the life of nobel- prize winning author Earnest Hemingway (there is a slight twist in this story; Hemingway has a daughter here, where in actual life he had three sons). Thank you for the review!

I’ve never been a fan of Hemingway as a person, although I do like his writing and admire his granddaughter Mariel. This book could be interesting; change just one part of person’s life, and it could alter in ways you would never imagine. One would hope that this hypothetical daughter could break the supposed love curse, but my vote is just for her to get that dream job and have a long, healthy (including mentally healthy) life. Thank you for the helpful review.

Christine Whitehead, the author really did well by recreating this story. Everything about the character development in this historical book was awesome. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I have always been a fan of Hemingway's literary creations and this fictional story of seeing him through a daughter's eye is rather, fascinating. I would definitely enjoy reading the book. Thanks for the review!

I like the author's portrayal of family values in this book. Despite his marital weaknesses and failures, Hemingway is able to maintain a paternal presence in his daughters life that is vital to her growth and maturity.
Thanks for the great review.
