Fans of “sports-based themes will enjoy” today's Book of the Day. Although I'm not a fan of boxing games, but I can tell those who enjoy boxing sports will enjoy it. Not a fan, though.

The storyline does interest me, but I'm not too motivated to read the book now. Besides, I need to check out the first book in the series to properly enjoy this one.

I love career-focused character-driven stories and this book seems to execute that perfectly. Thanks for the great review!

I think, by reading the sample of Proud to Be Me Rosalinda only, one could not be able to understand the main concept of the book. Therefore, I decided to add this book in my book shelf to read the entire concept. It seems a story of big struggle of a woman who does not want to give up her passion due to being a woman.

I'm not entirely a fan of boxing but Proud To Be Me Rosalinda by Jesse Monero sounds pretty interesting. She is a girl, yet she is a rising championship star, wow. Although this is flourishing, she has to overcome some relational difficulties.

The author describes the action in this book so vividly it's like watching everything live. Rose is an inspiration to all the womenfolk who have taken up sporting activities which were exclusively for men, and proving to the world that such stereotypes belong to the past.
Thanks for the great review. I congratulate the author on BOTD.

Sounds like a story centered around a strong female character. Rose sounds like the fighter she is in both the sport and the emotional level. The book would definitely be interesting to the fans who prefer sports based books. Congrats on BOTD!!

Thank you for the review.I wish I had read the first book because books about females in such a male dominated sport dont often come by.

Here's a strong woman! Our country is still euphoric over the Olympic gold won by our lady weightlifter. I'm eager to meet The Rose. I only wish those negative points can be knocked out.

We get so immersed in watching our favourite sports that we don't realise that the players have a life outside the ring/field/ground. We never know what turmoil they are stuck in, and the author does an amazing job in that case. Thanks for the detailed review.

As the author gave a feminine name to his main character, he coated her with a masculine personality as she is a boxer. It's my first time seeing a book that features girl boxers. I bet this is a great book. Congrats on winning the BOTD!
