I read your review of the first volume of this series and loved it. I like how you succinctly capture the storyline in your review, granting readers an all-rounded perspective about the book. Thanks for the review.

What a great review, Ria! I read the first chapter, where Delvin joins Grimbold on the mission to catch Magister Meldrum, and I also feel that this book 2 is at least as good as book 1. I am yet to meet Nippy you mention in the review, and I hope to reunite with Delvin's Rabbit Frieda!

Your review is captivating, it gives the reader a sense of curiosity to read the second book and discover the adventure of Delvin together with his friends as a continuation of the first book.

I love the first book. The second book of Delvin's adventures sounds amazing. I hope Jarla thinks more highly of Delvin after this book. Thanks for the review.

The book is a continuation of Delvin's adventures as a magician but this time around things seem to be a lot more peppier with new characters involved and a lot more at stake.

Hi @Nabweteme Gloria, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Three Card Trick" and I agree book 2 was excellent. I found all three books to be well-written with plenty of action. I recommend you read book three "The Magic Lantern" to follow the continuing saga of Delvin, Prince Jarla, Nippy, Grimwald and the Duke. Delvin has become quite the hero at age 20 and his magician skills continue to grow in leaps and bounds. @Mrlefty0706 @CharlesTownsend

I've just finished reading The Three Card Trick by Charles Townsend.
And thoroughly enjoyed reading it for its unforgettable cast of characters --magician Delvin, Princess Jarla, Capt. Grimbalt, and "Prince" Nippy.
I loved the way Delvin's Three Card Trick was integrated into the story, particularly some very tricky, edge-of-the-seat situations!
Humor, Adventure, Fantasy, and Magic -- rich in imagination & woven together into a great read.

Thanks for your great review.
