I can barely fathom how difficult it is to be a single mother, it is admirable how these women overcome challenges in their lives and give their children a better future. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a really empowering read for women and a very important read for men. The stigma around single mothers needs to be erased.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

Wow! It sounds truly inspirational. Raising a child on your own is by no means an easy feat, so it is both comforting and reassuring to hear of tales were women, despite the reason behind them going solo, are succeeding and thriving in the best way they can. Thank you so much for your intriguing and insightful review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Solo moms are so underrated. And this like you said is the perfect eye-opener. I have always hated how solo moms remain solo while solo dads marry almost directly after their wives die like they never had any love for them. And why? Because they're men; and can't do housework, look after kids, and earn bread at once. (But I must say there are exceptions.)
This book is a great example for how contrary to traditional belief women are stronger than men, especially mothers.
Definitely in my to-read list

Being a single parent is difficult for both genders, but women suffer more when they have to bring a kid up on their own. For whatever reason that caused the separation, single moms undergo a lot in the early stages of being a solo mom, especially if the kids are younger and more in number. Big ups to you independent women. Superb and descriptive review.

The review is a nice one with the gist of the book well put to solicit va vivid understanding of what the rationale of single motherhood is stereotypically and pragmatically. Amazing review!

I got the point about solo moms. But the fact someone married early or had to be a single mother, doesn't necessarily make her decision wrong. Her marriage didn't just work out, simple. I'm interested in reading this book.

This is the best of books I've read so far for empowering women. Women are not just what meets the eye, it has way more deeper meaning of being a woman. This book surely covers all the hardships of being a woman, seeing through their perspectives makes us want to be proud and grateful for our mothers and all the mothers out there, cherish the means of being a woman because we know no matter what circumstances every mother is in, it sure isn't very easy to handle but these women did handle it smooothly. salute to the women who wrote this book . If a mother reads this book im sure she'll be proud and have more confidence in herself despite all the troubles she went through.

We Got This: Solo Mom Stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor by Marika Lindholm, Cheryl Dumesnil, Domenica Ruta, and Katherine Shonk is a book containing several stories about single moms. I perfectly understand the situation because I am a single mother. Congratulations on #BOTD.

The other side of solo moms is beautifully narrated irrespective of their ethnicity and race in this book, and the stories sound quite engaging.
