This book is going to be very motivational. Good to know that it helped you too. I believe that what you are born with can only affect you to a certain extent, but what you choose to do in your life makes your life. I would like to know how the author surpassed his difficulties and excelled in his chosen path. Thanks for the review!

This books sounds interesting. I like success stories where people build themselves from nothing. This one also seems very motivational. Seeing someone from a tough background going to veterinary school, and owning hospitals, and becoming a successful real estate entrepreneur is very inspiring. Thanks for your review.

Although is not of my interest I have to say that this book is a great one for motivating anyone who's surrounded by poverty and social disadvantage. The author tells us to refuse to be a victim of our surroundings and to get up every time life knocks us down by never quiting. All in a down-to-earth approach throughout the whole book and easy to understand. Will share it for people interested.

In addition to being a down-to-earth autobiography, "Bet On Yourself" sounds like a great self-help book that encourages readers to rely on themselves to achieve great things. As someone who enjoys reading about triumphs over adversity and wants to increase my knowledge about real estate and finances, I decided to add Vernard Hodges's book to my bookshelf. Thank you for the review! :)
