I love books that show me places that, at the moment, I can only dream of visiting. As a woman, it would also be interesting for me to explore a modern man's perspective on things like relationships and fatherhood, and I'd much rather read a book about men being friends than, say, them maliciously competing against each other. This book appears fascinating from just following the review. From the sample I have read so far the experiences were so vividly described. My main issue was from the start the use of one or two words in the dialogue at times that could offend one's sensibilities. For me this had set a certain tone one could expect from the rest of book.

When I read the review, it honestly made me think about One Piece! Haha! It was a great review and this book sounds very promising! A group of men traveling around the world, living life to the fullest with it's ups and downs is my kind of read. Very authentic! I'm going to give this book a read and note down the places these men have gone and explored, for my husband and I love hiking and traveling, and seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland is one in our bucket list! Oh, it does! The author also does a great job explaining male emotion and how it can affect a man when he bottles up the way he feels instead of communicating.

It's technically fiction but I think the author is a global traveler who worked in law and finance (like the narrator), so my guess is he based it off real-life experiences.
