What an intriguing fictional book this is. Stephen really passed through a lot right from his childhood days. I hope he was able to find happiness in the end? Congrats on BOTD.

After what Stephen has experienced with his family and how badly his father had treated his mother. It is only normal for Stephen to think if he's going to become a good husband. I believe he'll do well as a father and a husband. Congratulations on BOTD.

I think the plot is great and has so many intense attachments to it. The author's use of powerful description is also a great thing. Congratulations on being the Book of the Day.

I feel sorry for Stephen, no child is supposed to feel that way while growing up. But I'm glad that Stephen decided to move away from home. That's the only way he can find himself. Congratulations on BOTD.

Stephen never wanted his awful experiences to turn his life into something else. Hence, he made sure he took the right path. Congrats on the book of the day.

I think I would enjoy reading this romance novel that comprises well-developed characters. Also, the central character is involved in some amusing instances at times. Thank you for the review!
The disappearance of the word "I am" is indeed the highest happiness! :)

The first lines of this book shocked me. Stephen had it tough. It's a book I would like to read, but I'm a bit picky when it comes to books in a series, and I do prefer to read them in the correct order. Great review.

Starts off like a small fire,at the simple introduction of alcohol in any parental role, you know the read will pull at the heart strings. I'm kinda curious about what happens...

It sad that his father and siblings would find the audacity to blame him for his mother demise. I mean, it's just an ill fated event that might happen to one out of ten women giving birth. Nice review though, looking forward to reading the rest of the book.
