I feel genuine interest in reading this sci-fi tome. The mixture of technological advances with prehistoric lifestyles within the plot line shows promise for originality. I am mostly focused on reading a different sci-fi novel for a review and then Forbidden Island on the side for fun, but I certainly look forward to reading this one as soon as I complete Forbidden Island or another amazing page turner. Thank you for the detailed review!

At first this review sounded like a great book, but then towards the end as the reviewer mentioned the errors and negative aspects I’m not so sure!

Although, I do like some science fiction novels. I will be adding this book to my not interested list. I am not so sure about the main characters being hunters and gathers and then the technology that is being used is set in futures times.

Thank you for your review. I will admit while reading your review, I was picturing everything in movie form. Even though I am intrigued by the concept of this book with forming new places to live outside of Earth, the errors contained within have deterred me just a little bit. I think I may wait until this book has been updated and fixed before reading it. :tiphat:

From sampling the book, I was curious how the class system would play out. From your review, it is clear that there will be some exciting conflicts between the workers, tubers and formerly rich. The cultural dynamics and the new world they are escaping to sounds fascinating. It's unfortunate that the errors lessen your enjoyment of the book. Thank you for the review.

An outer space themed book! This kind of books give me the most anxiety since anything could go wrong in space! I downloaded the free sample but it was mentioned that there were errors and it could be distracting for me. I’ll still give this book a try though.

"In 2149, overdeveloped and polluted Earth is dying. With no way to reverse the damage done to the planet, a group of scientists finds a way to open a fracture in the space-time continuum. This creates a portal to prehistoric Earth, leading to a last-ditch effort to save the human race by correcting mistakes of the past. The Shannon family participates in the tenth pilgrimage to Terra Nova, facing such prehistoric dangers as dinosaurs. The Shannons are also challenged within Terra Nova, as not everyone on the mission has the same intentions to save mankind. Prolific filmmaker Steven Spielberg serves as an executive producer of the series".

I have watched this tv series named Terra Nova and your review makes me think of this serials. This book and that series both talk about the environmental catastrophe on planet earth and finding other planet to inhabit.
Your review is so insightful.

As much as I love a good dystopian story centered around the future of humanity, one riddled with errors erodes my appetite. I however like that in this book, the author brings to life a possible reality.

This sounds like an intriguing read, since there is advanced technology present, yet the people have to resort to simple living skills in order to survive. I like the idea of two opposing lifestyles in one book.

This book sounds very interesting. In fact, it reminds me of the book which explains how humans got to Pern in Anne McCaffrey's The Dragonriders of Pern series, which is one my favorite science fiction series. It's disappointing to hear about the errors since this book otherwise sounds right up my alley, but maybe I'll be able to push past those to just enjoy the story. Thank you for the very helpful review.

Amazing review which creates a trailer like picture of the book in front of us! Too bad that the edits could not be fixed beforehand! We need more such stories which give us a peek in what could be possibly the future, not nearby though.
