This is the kind of fantasy book I like, I think. I'm not sure since I haven't finished reading the book yet. Talking dragons, fantasy worlds, and artists are definite hookers for me.

I also like this review since it was enthusiastically written. The fifth paragraph though was somewhat hazy. Probably done intentionally to lure possible and interested readers.

After going through your review, I actually really want to read this book. I'm a fan of young adults novels and I also love adventure. I would definitely introduce this to my friend.
Great review by the way.

I can't pass up a fantasy novel with a well-built world and multiple layers of meaning. People tend to forget how fantasy and other genres of speculative fiction can serve as the perfect blank canvases for exploring the social/political/cultural/economic problems we're having today, mistakenly thinking of it as pop fiction or children's stories. Thank you for the helpful and thorough review.

It's quite obvious, the reviewer's love for this book. It must be amazing to have adventures in the world that you create. I believe this experience would help her through her difficult time, especially the fact that her parents have been missing. Congrats to the author for winning BOTD. It sure sounds like an exceptional read!

Thanks to your review I get very exited to read the book and learn about Ato and the dragon! Although some of the words are a bit out of my (non-native) English vocabulary (eg. Versatile).

The review really gives of the feel of a magic book full of possibilities!

Thank you for such an extensive review!

Have you ever read Cornelia Funke's Inkheart series? This reminds me of that, only with art instead of writing. There's something about the power of imagination to bring thoughts to life that these books address in an interesting way.

I'm also curious as to what Ato does to release Iro and how that impacts the story, so I'm definitely going to check this one out.

I think I will give this book a try. I'm the kind of reader who prefers reading fantasy stories or stories in which the character, together with his or her friends, travel to a different time or, in this case, dimensions. I also like reading adventure stories where, along the way, they can learn something about life or about themselves. The author's style of writing is kind of a bonus since the book review says that it was versatile. I hope it's not very whimsical, because I kind of have a hard time reading books with that kind of writing. Otherwise, I have the feeling that I will really like this book. And I hope I'm right.

I like the deeper meaning that can be deduced from 15-year-old Alto. Her vivid paintings are a reflection on how young people can use art positively to alter the society we live in. Thanks for your review.

The cover page is amazing. Ato's art opens a path to a totally new world which helps her to mature and see things differently...that's quite an interesting story.

I see a beautiful book on a young girl who is out on an adventure to see a world she has been denied access to since she was born The excitement she feels versus the reality she meets as she explores. Thanks for your review.

The world of Ato by Patrick
Borosky

I must admit that I am really compelled and getting interested in reading the whole of this book. I don't like adventure books but this one is an exception and "A MUST read book" of a young girl Alto who lived in an impossible world. Thanks to the Author Patrick Borosky

The plot seems heartbreaking with a 15 year old girl living alone in a house on top of a hill. Being a fantasy lover, I might consider giving this book a try.
