If this is a self-discovery book, then this is for people who feels that they need to do something to get through a weak point in life. I think I'll pass on this one tho, it sounds simple to me. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for a great review. This book wrapped a lot of mystery from the characters' life. I'm not sure I'd be interested to read this book. Because based on your review, the story's plot seems predictable, and I found it boring because I expected a different climax.

I find this book very nice. I won't say it's my favourite but it is a nice book to read. Nothing much is happening in it but it's not boring either, it is just basic. I would have appreciated it if it had more adventures. But I don't regret reading it.

I am on the fence about this book. It has a promising storyline and the makings of well-developed characters, but I don't know about all the folklore sprinkled throughout. Thanks for the informative review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting story about a man who, after being imprisoned, becomes friends with a death row inmate who tells the man all about his daughter, life and treasure. Before the inmate's execution, the man promises to meet the daughter and tell her about her father. When the man is eventually released, he has to deal with a divorce and his mother having cancer. Eventually, he takes his mother to meet his friend's daughter where he relates her father's story and then develop a relationship together. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I'm looking forward to reading this one and seeing whether Tully is (or isn't) able to fulfill his promise to Calvery.

Many people would not take time out of their lives to fulfill the wishes of a man who is being sentenced to death, but the character in this book certainly lived up to the task. Thanks for the review! :)

This book sounds like one that blends several elements, among them mystery, romance, and illegality. I'm glad that Tully sets out to fulfill his promise to Calvery, even though he had forgotten about it initially. I also wonder how and if Tully's introductory admission of being "an addict and a liar" plays out in the rest of the book. Thanks for the recommendation!

Wow! I love the premise set for the storyline. I'm even more interested in what Chloe's father was convicted for. Great review.

The title of the novel has generated some interest. I hope Tully was able to save Chloe for her father's sake. Thanks for the insights.

The story seems to have intriguing elements in its plot, and the characters perfectly portray their roles to match the theme.
