I've just finished reading Tara Basi's The Orb, and am really excited about this book as well. Your review makes the story sound interesting, absurd, and relevant all at once. And I absolutely agree with you that the author has an amazing way with descriptions. I'm curious to know what revelations occur at the end. Thank you for this brilliant review!

Sounds like a very interesting book, so surreal, absurd, just the review makes you want to read more.

This review along with the free sample pages gives readers a glimpse into a surreal totalitarian world created by author, Tara Basi. As I read, I began to notice an allegorical theme combined with dystopian elements. It is easy to find similarities between real world issues and this fictional realm teeming with injustice, fear, and uncertainty. I can already tell that this isn't your average type of story. It delves into the conscious and unconscious domains of the human mind, forcing us to ponder seriously, beyond the ordinary and the mundane... I look forward to reading this one. :techie-studyinggray:

Punished for no nightmares!?... This is not what we would expect in a novel. And anyway a good book is that which has unexpected incidences, I like it.

After reading the sample I wasn't planning to read this book. However, your review made me rethink that! Sounds like A very interesting read. I can't imagine going through your entire life having nightmares every night only to be accused if committing a crime when you finally have one night without them! That's a very creative concept for a book! Thanks for the great review!

This doesn't really sound like the kind of book that I normally gravitate to. I think I would find all the ridiculous and arbitrary demands frustrating. I did enjoy reading your review, though!

Accused for not having the routine nightmares; there was really a philosophical reason behind the Terrors Abi encountered. Thanks for the recommending it to us Philosophical content lovers.

Thank you for your convincing review! Say no more, I have Kindle Unlimited and I am going to get it now. :handgestures-thumbup:

I love fast-paced yet surreal reads because I am a quick reader and love a gripping read. I like that you mentioned the story kept you guessing, because not many books have this quality.

Mystery, humor, and Kafkaesque bureaucratic systems? Yes, please. This definitely sounds like the sort of book I love since Kafka is one of my favorite authors and it's plain to see The Trial's influence here. The difference is that this novel is actually complete and features some touches of comedy, which excites me even more. Thanks for the review!
