A collection that is drawn from personal experiences of the author, they were written to be a gift for his daughters. The titles of the stories are themselves an invitation to read them due to they treat themes of the daily life in a inspiring way

An amazing set of eighty stories categorized under different headlines which provide a meaningful insight to life. I like the thought that the author wanted to leave something (this collection) for his daughters to read and benefit in the future. Good job on the review. A must read for all!

There are several ways in which a parent can leave a legacy for their children, the author chose to instead leave them a book. I am truly inspired. The review is awesome!

Something Happened Today by Paul E. Kotz sounds like a humorous self help book which is sure to inspire and motivate its readers. However, self-help books aren't just my genre so I'll pass. Thank you so much for your review.

This seems like a perfect book for reading one short-story a day. It's a great way to start each day with a dose of pragmatism leading to inspiration and positive thinking. Great review!

I agree it is the little things in that are most important. Asking for help when need it I have found to be very important as well.

I love that you didn't just talk about how the book is good overall. Rather, you broke the novel down and referred to individual chapters/stories that you appreciated. It gave me a clear impression of the type of reader you are and whether or not this review was useful to me. Great job!

An awesome collection of 80 stories that are drawn from personal experiences of the author are presented in the book "Something Happened Today" by Paul E. Kotz. These stories tell us about the things that can bring us happiness. This book inspires us to be happy by the little things we get along the way.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I want to start by saying that what the author set out to do is pretty admirable--creating an inspiring, uplifting, and easily-digestible book for his children to enjoy while helping others with it as well. It's a really nice sentiment, and I applaud his dedication and passion in regards to the project. It's nice to see he wants the best for his family and his community, as well as himself, and that he can remain so positive in his everyday life. A lot of people can benefit from having a book such as this to help pick themselves up and encourage them to keep moving forward.

I, however, am not the type of person to gain enjoyment out of these types of books. The synopsis didn't really interest me, though I do prefer the whole "collection of essays" to inspire rather than one longer work. It's easier to stay invested in short bursts. That doesn't change the fact that I really don't have an interest in these kinds of books. I'm also not religious, so seeing them referring to a God or a goddess in the world around them, while for them is really great and comforting as it is to many others, holds no meaning to me. I don't despise religion or anything, and want people to feel comfortable and happy with what they practice, but I don't enjoy having God brought up in every aspect of my life when I don't belong to a religion. Just a personal thing.

In any case, congratulations are due to the author for receiving Book of the Day. Thank you to the original poster for reading his book and writing such a thorough review.
