It wasn't appealing to me. The review was good but going through it, it cleared that there's mostly things based on a teenager . Set in a 1960 time span, I'm not fan of it. So I'll skip it.

I really admire Corey Mark courage while cruising through 1960s, something to bring back reflction on the past. Congrats on BOTD

This is an interesting coming of age story. I was drawn to it by the descriptive language. I love the author's extensive use of figurative language and mostly the animation of the inanimate. Thanks for a wonderful review. Congratulations BOTD.

A book that reminds you of summer is always welcome. And this one seems to have some wisdom for older teens to learn. Literature about broken families usually includes characters that teach you a lot about life.

I like the name of this book .The boy of this story'life is also like summer hot,dusty and sad,who has no support of his family , especially his mother. His mother is a drunk woman .who doesn't fulfill her duties as a mother.

Those grammatical errors seem will annoy me when I read this book, but I'm still eager to read the book next time. Nice review!
