I must say though I felt sad from reading the beginning of the storyline, especially Moon's awesome childhood with his grandmother but who later left him due to death. The sadness didn't just end there because his father had to take him out of North Korea to South Korea due to the war there, only for Moon and his father to be confronted with another war(the Korean War). Nevertheless, the end of the book is just so inspiring and worth coping with, because it makes
us understand that our lives can still be good, fruitful, and admirable nonetheless what we may have gone through in the past. Thanks abundantly for your review, it's just so direct to the point and easily understandable.

This is a story of salvation and a story of hope. Mr Moon receives hope through a man who introduced him to Christianity. I am looking forward to reading this book to learn from it. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

At first glance, I think I would be disappointed with the book not because of " not so good a story or anything of that sort". It is because I read something in the review that I would prefer. I would prefer details on the part of the story about how he was smuggled out of North Korea and the actual scene of their escape. In addition, I would like to read even just a little about their life in North Korea. It is non-fiction. But the review does not give a hint of this being touched lengthily in the story. On the other hand, it might be touched in detail. I may just hope and see. The review also said details of violence. Wow! A Christian story with violent development. Well, it is a missionary story, and stories about missionaries to my little mind are more often about their persecution or about their success. At any rate, the story would be very inspiring and with a bit of history.

I'm thrilled to share my enthusiastic review of 'The Bulletproof Missionary.' This captivating book chronicles Shang Ik Moon's awe-inspiring journey from North Korea to America, showcasing his unwavering resilience and the life-changing encounter with Chaplain Vajda that led him to embrace Christianity. The relationships depicted, especially Moon's unbreakable bond with his father, add a heartfelt layer to the narrative. The seamless chronological flow of events makes for an engaging read, and the meticulous editing ensures a smooth experience. I must note that the book contains graphic violence, suitable for mature readers. For those seeking tales of courage and transformation, 'The Bulletproof Missionary' is a compelling choice. A testament to its profound impact and captivating storytelling. Happy reading

What an inspiring story! Shang Ik Moon led a life of adversity and managed to rise up to become a well known professor who lived a life serving others. I think Army Chaplain Vajda was admirable for guiding Shang Ik on a positive path. The book review was well written and will encourage others to read the book.

One aspect that I particularly appreciate about "The Bulletproof Missionary" is its raw honesty. Keriz Rosado fearlessly exposes the harsh realities of gang life, making no attempt to sugarcoat or romanticize it. His narrative delves deep into the gritty details, providing readers with a truly authentic and unfiltered depiction of what it's like to be engulfed in a world of crime and violence.

A difficult life lived by a boy who’s triumphant strength has to be praised. The bond between a father and son is unbreakable and this story is living proof of that. The fact this is a Christian read makes it even more exciting. Thank you for writing an honest and insightful review!

The BOTD features the story of Moon, who is caught in the cruel battle of war as a child. He endures the hard trip from North Korea to South Korea and converts to Christianity.

"The Bulletproof Missionary" by Keriz Rosado is a captivating book that I can't wait to read. The author tells the incredible journey of Shang Ik Moon a man who went from a difficult childhood in North Korea to becoming a respected missionary in America. Moon's story is one of resilience and hope as he overcomes the challenges of war and loss to find his purpose in life. I am eager to discover how Chaplain Vajda's introduction to Christianity transformed Moon's life and set him on the path to becoming a missionary. This book promises to be a gripping and inspiring read that will remind me of the power of faith and the ability to rise above adversity.

The review is excellent. I like the way you tell about the layout of the book and a few of the child's hardships. You tell just enough to get my interest, but not enough to spoil the book. I also wish this was just a fictional account. The things many people have to go through are hard to read about.
