I haven't read the first book, Worldlines, but I agree that the story idea sounds interesting. I'm interested in understanding how the author explains the theory that makes it possible for a person to be possessed by their doppelganger from another timeline through lucid dreaming. I read 'Worldlines' and thoroughly enjoyed it. I still remember the birthday scene where Michelle died. I'm happy that the sequel, 'The Futility of Vengeance', is here. Gary was beginning to get a hold on how to control the lucid dreaming, and I do hope he was able to put it to good use to get out of jail.
