This seems a novel that uses some classic elements of dystopic and post-apocalyptic fiction to depict a future of climatic disasters. With another round of proofreading it could be excellent. Thank you for your great review!

It is so interesting and I really need to find out what are the endeavors that Ella will take. This is unlike any other science fiction I've read. I think there is a possibility that Earth might not be the same as what it is now in the future. This book could be an eye opener for everyone.

A fictional story based on a possible future dystopian world where the earth has been affected by climate change. It touches on the subject of scientific studies to slow down aging. I find it interesting.

Growing older, from personal experience, is no picnic. Thoughts of longevity within the last decade(s) of my life are certainly something that cross my mind on a regular basis. Turning a switch to slow the process makes me very interested in this book. Additionally, a dystopian society created from the abuse of the natural environment hits close to home as well, particularly as politicians in this country continue to roll back environmental protections. I'll be reading additional comments on this book but it's pretty much a certainty that it will be going on my to-be-read list. Congratulations to the author for being today's BOTD designee!!

A post-apocalyptic dystopian novel reminiscent of Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, or Lois Lowry seems right up my alley. Ella's journey paves the way for lots of challenging topics like genetic manipulation, climate change, the elders' status, decision making, and risk-taking. Thanks for a great review!

I think the author has a good point. We humans have been destroying our own ecosystem. Perhaps, its time we start thinking about the future and the consequences of our actions.

Climate change is an eventuality, though I haven't given much thought to the effect it would have on the social structures especially the aged. I am not a fan of speculative fictions but this caught my attention.

Interesting view on dystopia. Thanks for the review but apocalyptic stories aren't for me.

This book sure raises the question of how our world would look like in years to come if attention is not paid to climate change. Thank goodness humor is interspersed throughout the book to balance its grim message. Just imagine an elder whose needs are catered to (including the ones they don't know they have) :D . Awesome review.

I have never read any dystopian story however this review makes me wonder why. This should be interesting read!
I hope the grammatical errors can be overlooked like you earlier mentioned. Great review!

This is so interesting! Not only am I passionate about climate change advocacies, I’m also a fan of unconventional books that really grab your attention. The moment I saw there were no protagonists or action scenes, my interest was immediately piqued!

This books brings to our attention the effects of climate change on the future world. That said, am not a fan of time travel books so I will pass on this one. Thank you for the review.
