I loved your review. The book sounds fun to read and very educative too about some of the effects of WWII. The lead character Janneke sounds quite appealing to me. It's definitely a must read for me.

As a student of History and International Relations, I'm inclined to read this book. I appreciate how the author was able to make the stories relatable coupled with the beautiful development of characters. Well done, Great review.

Normally I would have love to read this book. I love historical fiction based on real events, with one exception of the rule. I avoid anything related to WWII and unfortunately this book is exactly about nazis. Apologies and congratulations!

For those who enjoy historical fiction especially the type that narrates what leadership should be and not be using Adolf Hitler as a case study, this is a must read for you all. Excellent book. Congrats on the #BOTD

The author used great care to reconstruct the real events of World War II using them to create the fictional story within that frame. congratulations on the BOTD

This book sounds well-written and edited. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy reading WWII era stories. I've never heard of Putten before.

Although I am not the type to read a lot of books about Nazis, I do appreciate that it is based on true facts. A historical novel that makes you think and experience history through words.

It will be a good one for those who are a fan of historical fiction and fan of World war 2 books but not that intriguing for me. I would not mind giving it a shot though. Great review though.

I have always wanted to read a real life account of Hitler's conquest and his eventual destruction.

Death camps and the way Germany influenced the whole world is something a developing society should know about.

Thank you for this review.
