It sounds like a well-written book with a thoroughly researched background. However, I feel that the pace is a bit too slow for my taste.

Matt sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders and is simply trying to live his life to the fullest and be happy. I’m glad the author was able to pick the story back up after the disappointment of not being involved with the bullets. Thanks for the great review!

It's commendable that Matt chose to stop working for South Tropic Airways. It probably caused him some hardships but it seems like he made the right choice.

It's an amazing book and the reviewer did well with the summary. A pilot looking for love and can't get his wits together and hot a home run? A deserving #BOTD tittle. Congrats.

This sounds like quite the ride! I like that there are so many themes explored in the story, and the characters and plot also seem well-fleshed-out, except for the ending. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review. I don't generally enjoy historical books unless they are fast paced and suspenseful so I'll probably skip this one. But I'm glad it was enjoyable.

Thanks for your review! The shift in pace definitely seemed to me that it would be a downfall. I was expecting high intensity after the brutal method of murder mentioned in the sample. However, since you said that it resolved and transitioned quickly, I can understand why the slower pace is not really an issue. It's great that out turned out so well!

The book explores themes of friendship, faith, love, endurance, and seizing moments. The characters are interesting and the novel holds the reader till the end.
