This sounds like a good book. It seems like the story reveals the history of America through author's eyes and it covers every aspect.

ImageRacism is everywhere even in places you wouldn't imagine. It's unbelievable that people would "judgee a book by it's cover " even though the old saying has always advised as not to. I give the author an applause for writing this incredible book, to always remind us that we are equal and should treat others as we would like to be treated. Thank you for your review.

It sounds like a great up to date book. There are so many things wrong with the world today, specially the fact that some communities have to deal with racism. Great review

Providing a detailed review of historical facts, and then interpreting this information through your personal experience is a powerful way to create empathy with the audience. This review shows that the author first finds common ground, then pulls back the curtain on how individual groups may experience the same events differently. Great job on the review - I'm adding this book to my list!

Truly, America does not have a monopoly over racism. Everybody should fight for equality for everyone.

"My Fellow Americans: I Am an Angry, Tired, Black Woman" by Marjorie J Frazier - The author wrote a book almost by accident, what started as an open letter, then it became an article, and then a full-fledged, a thoroughly researched book tracing racism since The Declaration of Independence. It is a history, a personal story, and must impact your viewpoint whatever it may be. Marjorie Frazier's goal is to clearly identify the source of racism that has been part of America for generations. Excellent review. Thanks.

Such a touching book. Sadly, racism has never ended; however, it has been minimized, unlike those days. Great book, great review!

Racism is a pressing issue and I am glad this book sheds light on the matter and encourages people to break out of this mindset for a better society. I look forward to reading it.

In your review, you mentioned that "she shares her view on the history of America right from independence through the American Civil War,...". These words stood out to me because I'm very much interested in the history of America, slavery, racism and its effects on the lives of its citizens and other people around the world today. Your review was detailed and well-written. Thank you.

Definitely not my cup of tea and to be honest, I am quite tired to hear about topics this book is talking about. Most of it is a problem just because everyone keeps making it a problem. My philosophy in life is live and let others do the same, so no, I won't read this book, but congrats with BOTD!

I'd love to peruse the book and find out for myself the first-person perspective of racism in America. As outsiders, sometimes I think we tend to make judgements without having the whole story, and this book might just be the answer to some of us. Thank you for the review and congratulations on BOTD!
