What is the thickest book you own?

The unabridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo, with 1,276 pages. Runner up is The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett with 750 pages.

With the exception of the Family Bible right now the thickest book I own would have to be Stephen King's The Stand.

Reader's Digest How to Write and Speak Better. It's a hardback so when I read it, I'm usually at my study table because if I read it the way I usually read my books, it's going to end up on my face and that's going to hurt.

I have one long non-fiction book on my shelf, which I dip into very occasionally. It's called Europe: A History by Norman Davies and is 1133 pages. The longest fiction I've got is Asa: A Secret History by Mary Gentle. That one is 1090 pages long - probably the reason why I haven't read it yet!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, most my books are on Kindle now and i gave my gran most of my books (she's a reader too & loved twilight!) but i had to keep this book just because it's such a beautiful cover.

That would be Stephen King's "Under the Dome" at a whopping 1,017 pages. It was good. I recommend it.

Gone with the Wind - 1,448 pages. All completely worth it. It's one of my favorite novels and I reread sections of it now and then. I don't know what I'll do when that copy finally falls apart. I'm so attached to that particular book.

The thickest book that I own is Strong's Compact Bible Concordance. I find this pretty ironic simply because I have a large number of books. Out of the 200 or so on my shelves, indeed the Concordance is the thickest one. I even placed this book next to others just to make sure, although it is 749 pages long.
