Review on Lookong Inward by Sameer Pendse

I find the sample of this book was a good taste into the his mindset. He discusses paradigms and dichotomies of things people, places and things that plague the world and the mindset of others.
I also find the poetry to be prophetic and thought provoking. Nice piece, I would recommend to anyone in love with poetry pieces.

Poetry is a refined way of relaying the message. It tells the readers/listeners the intention of the poet. I form personal poetry, making it easier to relate to the poet's narrative. I have not read the book but I would like to do. Thank you for your expression about the book. Great review.

I'm not particularly fond of poetry and I don't believe that this book would cater to my taste. However, I must admit that the author has done an impressive job and I'm certain that readers who are passionate about the genre will find it quite captivating and stimulating.

Your recognition of the structural echoes of the author's life in the three parts is truly gratifying. From the sample, I have a feeling that Sameer is going to be unapologetic when dealing with controversial topics like gender and social issues. I also like it when an author is careful not to make a book overwhelmingly religious.

Unfortunately, I will have to pass this book no matter how intriguing the reviewer made it sound. To be honest, the entire concept of it as "contribution to the “social responsibility" poetry" is new for me, but sadly, it is the poetry part that prevents me enjoying the book, since I have trouble understanding rhythm in my native language and it is much harder with secondary. Apologies and still congrats on BOTD!

Nice review! I like poetry but admittedly poetry books tend to not be my go-to unless I’m in the mood for one. This seems to be one I could get into though; reading about one’s personal journey always has the potential for intrigue and investment.
