This is a very beautiful review of today's BOTD: "A White Man's Perspectives on Race and Racism" by Zephareth Ledbetter. Undoubtedly, racism is one tumour that's still plaguing humanity. Whether the first against it would be won or lost is uncertain. A courageous work by Ledbetter.

Reading the sampled pages of this book reminds me so much of a book I recently read. This racism saga started by our ancestors does not have to be carried on by current generations. We need to see how much division this is causing us. What does skin colour have to do with anything in life?

A book that gives us an in-depth look into racism is quite relevant.

Thank you for the great review.

"A White Man's Perspectives on Race and Racism" is a thought-provoking non-fiction about the history, causes, and effects of racism. It also deals various other topics, one being slavery. Racism is quite a heavy topic and most people tend to steer away from it. But I'm glad it's being addressed in this book. Congrats on BOTD.

It is unfortunate that racism still exists in our world. I do. Find it refreshing, even though it must have been difficult, for Ledbetter to have been able to express their views on the subject. Congratulations on BOTD!

"A White Man's Perspective on Race and Racism" by Zephareth Ledbetter condemns the idea of one race resenting and discriminating against the other, while also questioning the use, misuse or abuse of the N-word. Congrats on being BOTD. Nice review.

I really like the highlights made in this review, I believe that the retrospective use of the ‘N’ should have also adapted with time. As a black person myself I don’t see how one can get offended when a White person uses the ‘N’ word in a non offensive way worst when singing to a song. Racism indeed still exists however there are a lot of things that are unfairly categorized and I will take a look at this book as I am interested in the perspective of white person.

This is a book that, in my opinion, describes a debate regarding racism and the complication that dark-skinned people have versus the connotation that white-skinned people have when using the word "black." Perhaps it is a question of prejudice or culture or something that comes from ancient times. A very interesting book to analyze. #BOTD

Definitely not my cup of tea, because I have no interest in the subject of this book and enough understanding to know what racism is and how wrong is the concept to discriminate anyone based on things no one has any control over. Sorry, I will have to skip this book.
