Re: Listening to Audio books
They can travel with you, walk with you, jog with you, etc. I mean that voucher is really cool, I wish you'd give audiobooks a chance and make use of that voucher.
Honestly thou, if the narrator lacks feeling or emotions when he/she reads the content, it won't be satisfying.

Personally, I've tried audiobooks and found them quite enjoyable for times when I'm on the go, whether it's during a commute, exercising, or just relaxing. The narrators' voices can add a new dimension to the story and make it feel more immersive. Give it a try with an open mind, and you might discover a new way to enjoy books that fits into your lifestyle seamlessly. Feel free to explore different genres and see what resonates with you. Happy listening!

So, since then I have wanted to listen to someone read to me but i wanted to read the book visually at the same time. I feel like it would be nice to have someone to read to me for a change and let me hear it in their voice rather than my own. I dont read out loud but i hear it in my head.. if you know what i mean.
So, i would like to know if audio books read out word for word from the actual book??

I prefer audiobooks for self-help books and instructive books. I can listen to them while I'm at other menial tasks. For novels, paperbacks or eBooks are the best.minnieminx wrote: ↑09 Jan 2016, 14:21 Hi i have a voucher for audio books but i have never listened to one before and i was wondering if you get the same satisfaction listening to a book rather than reading it. Or i would like to know if you listened to audio books what did you think of it

Also, audiobooks take away the fun of picking up new words.
