I can only read one book at a time. I want to give that one book all my time and attention.

I could read 5 books at the same time because if they book comes to a boring or awkward point, I pull out another from the shelf.

I used to read one book at a time but recently I am not able to stick to that and end up reading 2 -3 books together.

i only read one book at a time. i tried reading more then one at a time but feel like i'm cheating on the other book. i would find myself thinking of the other book while reading another or identify with one stories characters more then the other. i didn't like it so i stopped.

I usually have a non-fiction book, fiction book, and audiobook going at the same time, although not at the same reading rate. I also have a few magazines I read through when my attention span is short.

I honestly have a bad habit of reading more than one book at a time. But lately, I've been reading two books that just pull me in; The Elites by Kiera Cass and Recovery Road by Blake Nelson :D

I never read more than one book at a time.
Well, I may, but only if I were to lose interest in the one I was currently reading and that doesn't happen often.

I usually have about 3-4 going at once. I've always been a non-monogamous reader.

Usually two. But if one of the books is really good, I try to finish that one first.

If I get bored of the current book I am reading I pick up another and then switch back and forth, usually tend to stick to the one that is more interesting. So typically I have two books that I will read at once.

Anyone have tips on how to read more than one book at a time? I usually get distracted from just one book by everyday things in life ?

I can only read one book at a time because once a book pulls me in, I want to get lost in its world. I also stick with a series until the last book or until the last published book for that same reason. I have never been one to jump into multiple books at one time. It also helps that it usually takes me less then two days to read a book.
