This book could be a very interesting theme for some mature readers since is about prostitution. But I will pass since is not in my interest right now. Will share for those interested. Congratulations on BOTD.

This is the same case for me. It sounds hard to imagine that I might have to read the whole book 1 with the graphic scenes in it. If there was a way book 2 could be read as a standalone I would have tried it.

What a great review. Love true stories even the facts that she lived through all of that , I can't wait to read and find out what happened at the end.

I'm not the type of reader who looks for books because I easily identify with the characters--I like characters who are very different than I am, and this book qualifies; however, it sounds really interesting from your review. Thank you for the upfront warnings.
