This book has a new storyline that is set in a dystopia society. As usual, the main character, Abi, disrupts the tranquil, routine-like society which creates the drama in the book. This book appeals to those who enjoy reading absurdist, surrealist, or philosophical novels. Congrats on the BOTD!

“This book will appeal to those who enjoy reading absurdist, surrealist, or philosophical novels that keep you guessing.” I’m not sure I fit in this category, but I thought your review was well written. Excellent work covering all the criteria in a unique way.

Thank you for your review. This storyline sounds sufficiently strange or unique to pique my interest. I would take the ridiculous situations you mentioned as the author's attempt at satire but the rest of the novel seem to have some lessons or messages for us. This should be an interesting read!

Thank you for your honest and thorough review. I appreciate it. Reading a smidgen lets me know I'm not interested in reading it as dystopian/religious allegories/Alice in Wonderland/Monty Python aren't my style. However, the writing and premise sound highly interesting for those that appreciate this type of literature, and combined with excellent editing and your review, I'm sure it will land on many shelves.

The storyline in quite pulling. Abi is accused of Disturbance Potential because she didn't have a Terror nightmare? Ridiculous. What could this be about? 🤔

Just by reading the sample, I can tell what a whirlwind this book is. Seven is quite ancient so when the book begins, I'm thinking we're about to join her in her rather mundane life of being an old folk, so the twist was rather unexpected but very welcomed. Definitely reading this.

Initially, I liked the sound of this book but having read this brilliant review I am not sure I would enjoy a bizarre and surreal story. Also the fact the sentences are written staccato would really irritate me. So not one I will be reading but really love the theme of the book.

I don't think I would be reading this book. Although it is uniquely written it is not the type of story that grabbed or held my attention. Bunk bed coffins for people to sleep in, not having contact with other people for most of your life. I think I'll skip.

This novel based on surrealism sounds like one that is particularly interesting! The concept of terrors is one I haven't heard of, but the idea of waking up with a single button controlling your day sounds a bit like a utopia/dystopia which is quite intriguing when mixed together with the idea of the dreams and accusations. it sounds very similar to another book i read in the past!

Well well well, I have to say that this review has persuaded me that this book is worth reading. It also has a fresh plot.

This other fiction novel did not appeal to me, and it is not something I would want to read in its entirety. Allegorical in nature, it seemed to be somewhat irreverent. The profanity seemed a little meaningless.

Wonderful review! I sampled a few pages from the book and it was fascinating. The coffin bed, the night terrors, etc. Congrats to the author on BOTD!
