What a great and thorough review! The title of the book is definitely an eye-catcher. I myself didn't care for the author's writing style but I hope others are encouraged and will learn from this book.

Wow, this is such a detailed and in-depth review! After reading I feel super informed and even encouraged to pick it up. I wonder if this book really is helpful and to what extent though, as in is it retable for a lot of different age groups etc.

Section three does an excellent job wrapping a bow around the rest of the concepts. Mark says that the first two parts were to help you “live with intention, and not by accident”. That’s perhaps one of the biggest lessons I’ve ever learned personally in my life, and it's one I constantly forget about as I let myself get lazy and stagnate in growth. Sure, scrolling through twitter and playing video games are fun ways to waste time, and relaxing is important, but if you cut back on those even a bit and put that time to get use - living with intention - how much better could your life be? This goes right along with perhaps my favorite quote in the book - “The secret to success is having the ability to stay focused for long periods, at the right time and for the right reason.”
I like that the author focuses on the importance of how we think, and I also like your favorite quote of the book. Living with intention would help us to accomplish our goals. Giving real-life examples always makes the book more interesting.

Though I'm not a fan of self-help books, this book makes me want to check it out. Even its title is interesting and a dose of tough love is what we all need as a push in the right direction. So, thanks for your amazing review. I enjoyed reading it very much.

I like that this self-help book is trying to help people with success and happiness. I am not a fan of reading this type of book but if I did read self-help book this would be the one that I would read. I also like that the book is set up in sections to help you. Overall, I think that I will pass on this book.

Crawling. Walking. Running. What a fun way of labeling the important things a person should focus in life! I am excited to dig into this book and learn! Congrats!

I tend to find self help books a bit repetitive, but this one sounds like it has a fresh perspective! I tend to fall into my "yeah, buts..." more often than I care to admit. Maybe this one will be a good fit for me. Thanks for the review!

These days I think a LOT of people read self-help books but few are willing to put in the effort to help themselves to become something (or someone) better.
Also, it seems that improvement books depend much on whether or not you actually like the author. Which shouldn't matter at all. All that should matter is if something of worth is being said and should be heeded.
From reading both the free sample and book review it seems we are being asked to start at a very basic place. To determine what we believe personal success is. Because unless we know that, what we are working towards will be pointless.
Plus, I am pleased we are being asked to think bigger as opposed to just think "outside the box". Which are two very different things.
And the title makes me giggle every time I read it. So I am ready to continue on my personal journey whether I have a day or merely a decade left on the Earth. And I think this book will be a big help for me to do that.
Thanks to the author and reviewer combining their efforts to motivate me to read this book.

The title is funny! I'm not a huge fan of self-help books, but this one sounds unique from others in the same category. I like that he breaks the chapters down into crawling, walking. and running. Like the progression to happiness is by taking it one step at a time. Just like learning to walk

The author is telling us to take full responsibility for where we are in life, and to surround ourselves with people who are where we want to be in life. This is good advice, and I've heard it before. It might be helpful to include more inspirational success stories.

As I read through your review, I have someone in mind that I would recommend to read this book. It's funny how people get to a comfort zone and forget their goals in life. I love how the author discourage people to resign to fate but instead work to prove their worth. Great book right there.

This sounds like a fun and inspirational book to help anyone get out of a rut. Might encourage my teenagers to step away from the social media and read this.

I am an avid fan of self-development books, but at times all of them seem to be the same. I really like that the author uses a tough-love approach to self-development, as it is something that we do not get enough of. Great job on this book and I look forward to reading it!
