Thanks for the excellent review! This sounds like a good read. Romance and mystery along with the search for the clay tablets make a for an interesting story!

I agree with you that the book is slow, but the suspense is definitely worth it. I've only sampled it but what I've read I've loved. I'm sure looking forward to reading the entire book. Thank you for a lovely review and congrats on the BOTD.

I've always loved mystery novels, especially those that involves FBI investigations. I'm looking forward to finding out whether these tablets were found. Thanks for the review.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

Nicely written book that fans of art would love. Always wondered where cultural artifact taking during the war is kept. If a criminal steals art he sells it in the black market, but if the government steals it, what do they do with it? Good review.

I thought the book might be potraying death scenes and where people are being resurrected with the tablet. I now see I was wrong, I just can't wait to get the amazing content of this great book, especially for the fact that i love history.
Thank you for your recommendation.

I like stories about art history but I'm not a fan of slow books. I'd prefer if the action would develop quickly. And if there's no proper tension, then it can get boring. I have mixed feelings now... :)

Although this was a great review. But I have little interest in art and it looks like its gonna be interesting.

Mystery thrillers are one of my favorite genres, but I don't appreciate any supernatural elements added to them. I can handle the slow pace of the book as long as it stays interesting. Thanks for the honest review!

This book has everything and more. It is a great mystery novel with a psychic twist. How do you like some FBI investigation stories? Now add a little psychic activity to it and it is the "BOMB". Congrats on BOTD

I don't really read anything historic but I am very keen towards learning something about art and artefacts. This might be a good new try for me I think.

I like art and the plot is definitely appealing. I’m not sure I’ll enjoy the sample, but I’m open to giving it a try.

Being a history educator when I hear the words artefacts and mesopotamia the first thing that clicks on my mind is that you have to read the book. I love to know what secrets that exist about immortality. Thanks for the good review.

Based on your review, the story seems to be something I don't usually read. However, the mentions of art history and psychic abilities have caught my attention.

I like how in the beginning, the villain seems almost like a normal person. That obviously very quickly changed. What can I say, it has all the promise of an interesting crime book!
